COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WHO CAN ENTER?
- To be eligible to enter you must:
- be over the age of 18; and
- reside in Australia, excluding ACT.
- Employees of Supercars and Panasonic Australia, their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
- The competition period commences at 12:00am AEST 26 August 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEST 8 September 2024 (competition period), and Supercars reserves the right to extend the competition end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
- To enter the competition, you must submit an online entry by providing your full name, telephone number, email address, and accept these Terms and Conditions where required on the competition landing page at https://supercars.partnership-hub.com/panasonic-extreme-experience-sandown during the competition period.
- The competition will be advertised on Supercars and Panasonic’s websites and social media and will include a link or instructions to the competition landing page.
- No late entries will be accepted.
- A limit of one entry to the competition per person applies.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
- One winner will be chosen by random draw which will take place at 12:00pm AEST 9 September 2024 at Supercars’ head office, Level 34, Suite 02 100 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW, 2060. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize as described below.
- The winner will be notified by phone and in writing on 9 September 2024.
- The results of the draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw. This is a game of chance.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW
- If the winner does not confirm receipt of correspondence from Supercars by 9am on 10 September 2024, a second draw will take place at 12:00pm 10 September 2024 at the same place as the first draw. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed prizes. The unclaimed prize draw winner will be notified by email on the day of the draw.
- The results of any unclaimed prize draw will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
PROMOTION AND MARKETING
- By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Supercars may require without remuneration.
- The winner also gives consent for the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.
PRIZE
- The winner will receive:
- 1 x Safety car lap ($500)
- 2 x Paddock Club Hospitality Passes ($2,500)
- 2x Grid Walks ($500)
- 1x Portable nanoe X generator ($349)
- The total prize value is $4,349 ex GST
- The prize does not include any costs associated with redeeming the prize such as travel, meals, accommodation, spending money or taxes.
- The prize will not be transferable to another person.
- No part of a prize is exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
- If the prize is not available for any reason, Supercars reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority. If the winner does not agree despite reasonable attempts by Supercars to reach an agreement and the prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Supercars’ control, Supercars may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Supercars to be of equal or higher value.
- Supercars will take reasonable steps to distribute the prize to the winner within 3 days of the draw.
- It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and Supercars’ reasonable requirements. The winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by Supercars in its absolute discretion.
- Supercars reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if Supercars determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
- If for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Supercars, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
STANDARD TERMS
- Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
- Supercars reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page at https://supercars.partnership-hub.com/panasonic-extreme-experience-sandown. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Supercars.
- If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Supercars’ control, Supercars may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
- Supercars does not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason during the competition period.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Supercars (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Supercars’ control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Supercars) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Supercars; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the Prize. The entrant agrees not to bring any claim or proceeding against Supercars (including its officers, employees and agents) for any damage, loss, injury or liability you may suffer in participating in this competition or otherwise connected with you accepting and performing the prize.
- Please read Supercars’s privacy policy available on the Supercars website at https://www.supercars.com/privacy-policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.
- By entering this competition, Supercars will collect the personal information the entrant will have to provide to participate. If an entrant wins the competition (the Winner), Supercars may collect further information from the Winner. Supercars may also be required by gaming and lottery legislation to collect some of the personal information. If Supercars does not collect some or all of this information, Supercars may not be able to allow the entrant to enter the competition or provide the prize to the Winner.
- Supercars collects this information to administer the competition and fulfil the prize, and promote and market products and services of itself and its partners. Supercars may also use the personal information to conduct research and to plan and develop its product and marketing strategies.
- Supercars may disclose Entrant’s personal information to:
- entities who assist Supercars in administering the competition and fulfilling the prize, and other prize suppliers and deliverers;
- marketing, research, and communications agencies;
- Supercars’ partners who will use and disclose it for similar purposes and subject to its privacy policies;
- the authorities responsible for the regulation of gaming and lotteries and other government agencies, where applicable; and
- other parties where required by law.
- By submitting an entry into this competition entrants consent to receive promotional and other marketing communications from Supercars (including messages sent electronically for an unlimited period of time). Entrants will be able to opt-out at any time by following the instructions included in each communication sent by Supercars. The Competition Winner’s name may also be published as and/or required by relevant gaming and lottery legislation.
- You may request access and/or to update, correct or delete your personal information or lodge a complaint about a privacy breach by writing to Supercars. If an Entrant does not wish to receive marketing or research communications from Supercars or for Supercars to provide Entrant’s personal information to partners, the Entrant is required to contact Supercars at [email protected].
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants completely release Facebook any and all liability.
- Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Supercars and not to Facebook.
- The laws of New South Wales apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of New South Wales.
- Any term in these Terms and Conditions that is either wholly or partly unenforceable will be severed to the extent necessary to make the remaining terms of these Terms and Conditions enforceable.
